Hello! I am PhD candidate in Economics at American University. I am interested in public and labor economics with a focus on immigrant participation in the U.S. safety net. My current work evaluates the labor and poverty effects of immigrants becoming eligible for tax credits and analyzes the effect of access to legal representation on outcomes for cases determining immigrants’ legal status.
I am a graduate student researcher at the California Policy Lab and California's Employment Development Department, working on projects related to unemployment insurance.
During the 2024-25 academic year I am a visiting student researcher at UC Berkeley's Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE).
