Hello! I am PhD candidate in Economics at American University. I am interested in public and labor economics with a focus on U.S. immigration policy. In my current work, I analyze the equity-efficiency tradeoff of expedited case processing in immigration court and evaluate the effects of expanding tax credits to undocumented immigrants.Â
I also work at the California Policy Lab and California's Employment Development Department, working on projects related to unemployment insurance.
During the 2024-25 academic year I am a visiting student researcher at UC Berkeley's Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE).
